On October 5th, MassPay held our 7th annual Fed Up With Cancer fundraiser at Danversport Yacht Club.
More than 200 people attended this year’s luau-themed event, enjoyed great food from some of the North Shore’s best restaurants, and bid on items in the silent and live auctions.
The evening raised $24,000 to support cancer research and cancer patient programs at the North Shore Medical Center at its Salem and Danvers Massachusetts facilities. Since its inception, Fed Up With Cancer has raised over $350,000 to help fight cancer.
Thank you to the sponsors who made this event possible, including: Phil Richard Insurance, Safety Insurance, BDO, MRG Construction Management, McLane Middleton, Ulen & Hogue Financial, Ocean City Development, Beverly Bank, Gold Coast Mortgage Services, Joe Mavilio, CPA, and many other companies and individuals that supported the event.
Thank you to all of those who donated raffle and auction items. Your generosity is truly appreciated.
Also a special thank you to the restaurants that provided an incredible array of food for our guests to enjoy: Bell Vella Handcrafted Cookies, Daniella’s Café & Market, Danversport Yacht Club, Fuddruckers, Howling Wolf Express, Pomodori, Supino’s, Tartine Kitchen & Eatery, and Texas Roadhouse. We appreciate your ongoing support year after year to help the fight againsta cancer.
The highlight of the evening was the keynote by Ann Hargraves, a cancer survivor who inspired the crowd with her heartfelt story of resilience and the importance of local cancer resources.
"Sometimes you just want to give up. But I had the support of the North Shore Cancer Center, family and friends to keep me going."
We are also grateful to Merchant Consulting Group for the credit card terminals, and photographer Dave West from Born Imagery for his incredible memories of the event. Photos
MassPay continues to hope for a cure and we're incredibly encouraged by the strength that individuals impacted by cancer, and their families, show each and every day. The North Shore community continues to make a difference and support a world class cancer treatment center in our backyard.
Fed Up With Cancer is made possible because of the generosity of our friends, neighbors, colleagues and area business owners. Together, we can beat cancer.
Thank you to everyone that was a part of this inspirational night!
